I had a dream last night that I was walking along the beach, and I ran into someone from my past. In the dream, I could see his face. I could hear his voice. I could even smell his aftershave. So we started walking along the beach together. Just talking like old friends who at one time were something much more. And I felt all warm inside like I use to feel when I was with him, and I remember smiling in the dream because somehow I knew it was only that--a dream, but it was also a good memory. I remember he laughed, and how his laugh always made me start giggling. And then he said, "I'll see you there." And I said, "Yep." And he turned and walked away. And I immediately awoke. Only I couldn't put a face to the one in the dream and know it was really him that was there. Weird, huh?
